Tickets!

The most anticipated football match of the year. The football rivalry between the two neighbouring countries has been going on since decades ago.

The newly crowned AFF Suzuki Champions Malaysia will be playing against three English Premier League teams before the qualifier. They will go against Arsenal FC on 13th July, Liverpool FC on 16th July and Chelsea FC on 21st July at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil. The 2nd round first leg will be at Stadium Jalan Besar Kallang on 23rd July while the 2nd leg will be at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil on 28th July.

In order to show appreciation to Singaporeans and permanent residents for their unwavering support for local football, only Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents will be entitled to purchase the early bird tickets. Each person is only entitled to purchase four tickets upon showing your NRIC card at the sales counter.

There is also no information on the ticket details of Malaysia leg but Stadium Nasional has the capacity of 87,000 seats. Prepare for the roar of the Harimau Malaya fans as 80,000 fans expected to watch the second leg.

I will update this blogpost when there are details on the tickets. Please do plan and book your accommodations ahead if you are planning to travel to watch these two games. This is the match of the year for Singapore and Malaysia football fans.
